✨ My Logos Recommended Resources + Free Books!

Published 8 months ago • 2 min read

In Top Gun: Maverick there is a repeated mantra: It’s not the plane, it’s the pilot.

Logos is an incredible tool for learning, Bible study, and ministry. Yet, Logos is only as good as the resources inside of it. It’s not Logos, it’s the resources.

🙌 Many of my recommended resources are currently 25-40% off until September 9 at 9AM (PDT) thanks to the September Super Sale!

✨ More September Savings

This month only, get 40% off top Zondervan commentaries and collections on biblical studies, interpretation, theology, preaching, and more.

Zondervan is renowned for study resources, including the Word Biblical Commentary series, Zondervan Exegetical Commentary Collection, and the NIV Application Commentary series which are currently 40% off.

🤓 Logos Training Tip — Right-Click In Your Bible

Thanks to tagging, Logos can bring you the power to search for all metaphors using “salt” or “light,” all interrogative sentences which are asserting information (in other words, rhetorical questions), or all references to Abraham or Babylon—even those using pronouns.

If you want to search for any of these things or many others, Logos has tagged them in Scripture for you. Just find one example in the Bible, right-click it, and all the tags that apply to that word or phrase will be visible on the right side of the pop-up menu. With a single click, you can select those tags and search for them elsewhere in the Bible. — Source

💬 Thoughts for your Thoughts

Memorize this: ‘Everything is necessary that he sends. Nothing can be necessary that he withholds.’ If it’s in your life, you need it, even if it’s bad.
